Tortoise and the hare

There are two questions we should be asking ourselves each day. What did I do yesterday and what will I do today?... to ensure that America has a fair and progressive government that works to improve the lives of all Americans. A government that rejects hate speech, strives to reduce the impacts of global warming, is a global leader, who talks truth to dictators and supports the spread of freedom, democracy and capitalism around the world.

Progress, slow but steady, is preferable to a quick win motivated by anger. Taking back congress and impeaching trump would be a good first step. But if it is done out of anger without a long term plan, we risk losing momentum and ultimately we’ll be right back where we are now. The republicans will never stop promoting their ideals. The damage they have already done over the last year will take decades to reverse. We should not allow that to ever happen.
