Of our country at the hands of all these hideous, treasonous creeps, The West Wing is my go to binge series.
And for a while, I am comforted. Still sad, but oddly comforted.

I've binge watched the entire series, beginning to end, probably 4 times. That was after watching the reruns on TV as they played day to day. It was a couple time, iirc. I'm not sure if that is excessive or not. How many times have you done it?

Everyone says no white house is like that, but it seems like during the Clinton, Bush and Obama years, it could have been that way. People actually working to better our country; even during the Bush years you could question their methods, but not really question their hearts, rather than today where they're all fighting personal vendettas and updating their twitter feed.

It was our pretend administration.

Never imagined things could be worse!

Let’s hope we’ve hit a tipping point.

If Jeb Bartlett were in the White House, we could all rest easier.

Thanks you, Lawrence O'Donnell!

I love "The West Wing" because it's so smart and it's mostly an accurate picture of how our government works.

My fiancee called it a fairy tale! Given our present circumstances, maybe she's right.

I remember thinking it would have been nice to watch during the Bush years. I may need to do another re-watch, if only to remember what it is like to have caring and intelligent people in the White House!
