Will Republican Party be weaker or stronger with Donald Trump as their leader in 2018?

He is their leader. It is not Mitch McConnell or Paul Ryan. Make no mistake about that.

However, McConnell and Ryan have the power to remove him from his position if they so desire. Up to this point, they show no inclination to change horses in midstream. They have their wagons securely hitched to Donald Trump.

They are willing to wait and gamble, until the election of 2018 is over. If they suffer huge losses, they will blame Donald Trump. We should not expect them to do anything until after the midterm elections.

If they were to get rid of Trump at this time, they fear that the Trump base would turn on them. They are in a dilemma of their own making. It is not an easy decision for Republicans, I am sure. But, in my opinion, they would be stronger in the long run if they were to get rid of Trump tomorrow.

This is what is defining them right now. They are afraid to stand up to Trump and his rotten behavior and rotten comments. Showing themselves to be scared little chickens rather than grown up statesmen and women. I only hope that the voting public can see this. Not leaders but wimps with no principles.

He's the Republican Party. The only ones left are the racists and self loathers that just want to know the liberals are feeling pain...the thing is there's not that much of them. Where they have the numbers, they will be hard to beat. No ones coming out to vote to save Paul Ryan or McConnell. They'll come out to vote to stick it to liberals. And Trump drives that passion in them.

Keep Trump as the GOP leader, 2018, 2020, whatever. Strongest leader since Lincoln.

GOP, hitch your wagons to Trump, he will pull you through the electoral trials and tribulations.
