just as that play began. I'm glad I didn't. It was a total surprise. Minnesotans are so used to our teams losing games at the last minute that this was a shocking surprise. Good luck to them next week.

It would be great, though, to have our team play the Superbowl in its own stadium.

their 1st Super Bowl in their new stadium where the game will be played is huge! And way cool!

Go Vikings!

What's left of the 4 remaining teams is the greatest quarterback of all time vs. 3 back up QB's.

Good luck, at least Minnesota is a blue state

A Super Bowl between two teams who have never won the Super Bowl before would be a great story.

(It would also be a great story if Minnesota wins the NFC and is the first team to play the Super Bowl in its home stadium.)

"Purple Rain" will play loudly through the stadium should the Vikings take it all the way.

Being anything but a Raider or 49er fan was treasonous.

But after 45 years living in the Upper Midwest, I have become a Vikings fan. My adult children take their NFL Football seriously, especially my son. Yesterday's miracle win was indeed one for the record books. We in Minnesota have an emotional connection to this team. I will be in the area for Super Bowl week. Rest assured if the Vikings make it to Super Bowl LII, everything will be decked out in PURPLE. The game will be a Vikings game like no other.

I’m a low level football fan but The Saints are sacred and have the power to lift New Orleans whenever it’s low. I thought they’d pulled off the miracle.

But I’ll admit that was something.

And that the refs screwed over the Saints big time in the first half... three very questionable calls:

1- spotting the Viking rb a first down when he was clearly stopped before the line to gain... would have forced a punt but Minn instead continued the drive to a touchdown.

2- the pass interference call that spotted the ball at the Saints five yard line, resulting in a cheap Viking touchdown. The Minnesota receiver was holding on to the Saints defender and then took a dive. Even the announcers said it was baloney.

3- the "illegal shift" that negated the Saints' first half touchdown. The man was set.

Saints had to overcome a 17 point deficit that was mostly of the refs' doing.

But, hey, I have some Viking fans as friends and will be rooting for them the rest of the way.
