Statistics to shut down Conservatives when they try to give credit to trump for Obama's economy

I know we all have friends, family, or run into conservatives online that say that trump is such a wonderful president because of the economy. Or worse yet, the B.S. line that trump has done more for the economy in a year than Obama did in 8 years. And more recently how black people need to thank him for a record low unemployment rate. I put together a very simple post that even the most rabid, brain-dead trump supporter can understand, with links to indisputable sources, so they can't claim "fake news." Feel free to share it

--------------------------

The most important fiscal year for the economy is the federal government's fiscal year. It defines the U.S. government's budget. It runs from October 1 of the budget's prior year through September 30 of the year being described. For example:

FY 2017 was from October 1, 2016, through September 30, 2017. Obama's economy
FY 2018 is from October 1, 2017, through September 30, 2018. Trump's economy begins
FY 2019 is from October 1, 2018, through September 30, 2019.

Why does the federal fiscal year begin on October 1? That allows newly elected officials to participate in the budget process for their first year in office.

For example, President Trump and the Congressional members elected in November 2016 took office in January 2017. The Trump administration created a FY 2018 budget blueprint. It has not created a detailed budget as of May 10, 2017.

The unemployment rate when Obama's economy began on Oct 1, 2009 was 10%. It went down every single year from there all the way down to 4.1% Oct 2017, when the baton was passed to trump.

Black unemployment was 15.8% Oct 2009. It was down to 7.3% when the baton was palled to Trump. It's now 6.8%.

White unemployment was 9.2% Oct 2009. It went down to 3.5% in Oct 2017.
