If just seems like the hate is everywhere and so in your face. I remember when the internet became common in the late 90s/early 00s I was shocked with al the vile and racists shit that posted on a message board or even a card game site yahoo. Even the ESPN message boards were a mess. And that is when people were anonymous. Now with twitter and Facebook people arent even anonymous and they say outright crazy shit. Then of course you have the blogs and 24 hour news channels. And an online news articles comments section is just disgusting.
It just seems like hate is everywhere. That is how we got a POTUS like trump who only really has the backing of 30% if the country.
I am no fool. The hate was always there, all this technology just lets us witness it. And now people are becoming bolder about their hate and realize that they dont have to hide because there are many others who agree.

(16,993 posts)People with a lot hobbies, relationships, famlilies, a job, etc don't have time to post comments. They barely have time to read the articles. What's left is a skewed sample of the American public.
