It's a bit discouraging, that people don't think very hard about exactly what we want in a President.

Through my whipeepo lens, I was shocked by the ugliness that surfaced. Many of my friends have set me straight by telling me it was there all along.

Prince’s “Delirious” soared on the speakers throughout the building and everyone felt it.

“I’m in shock. I don’t know how to take it. This doesn’t happen in Minnesota,” said Jake Rother of Savage, who was sporting a Harrison Smith jersey.

His friend James Kolar of Mendota Heights interjected, “[Stefon] Diggs in 2020. In [Case] Keenum we trust.” He referred to the wide receiver and the quarterback who connected for the winning touchdown. He was bouncy and smiling, but minutes earlier, he said he “was biting my nails.”

If a person is dying of thirst, a few drops of what is needed can get that person super excited. All other thought can be pushed out for just one more taste. Even the memory of that one small taste can cause a person to relive that moment and desire it again.

Sometimes it's simply an appreciation for thoughts expressed.

But, yes, one good speech does not a leader make.

I think he’s clearly considering running, he’s been impressed with how people do respond to not just a good speech but a forceful echo of their own thoughts, and he’s calling 45 out NOW to try to get him further into his racist corner. Expect a nickname any time now.

OR how desirable his policy positions.

I'm against a Booker candidacy. He's got a lot going for him, and a lot against him. "Corporatist" ought to explain everything.

The even more shocking aspect is how some seem to be unaware that an AA can deliver a good/great speech. They seem so shocked to see it that said individual must immediately be elevated to Presidential status. It's simply offensive.

the distance between first consideration and my actual support/vote is about a million miles as I'd imagine is the case for most. However, a very important case in point:
