Three examples of scary stupid - and these idiots vote????

Here are three after-article comments I've read recently from my local newspaper. They aren't exactly as worded, but mostly.

1. "President Trump is going to go down as one of the greatest presidents ever! Right now he's up there with Washington and Lincoln. I think he may even surpass Lincoln after he's all done."

2. "Kick everyone off Medicaid and use the money saved to build the Wall!"

3. Re the opioid crisis: "Stop reviving them. Problem solved."

How can you reply to stupidity like this? I have mostly given up interacting with these cretins.

1. Unfortunately, yes. They not only vote but do so

enthusiastically (while many of our fellow Dems prefer to vote for a third party candidate or
stay home in order to 'punish the party'). And that's the problem.

2. The immediate solution: Outvote them

Organize, organize, organize, as Rep. Ellison is advising Democrats this year. There is a very good chance our efforts will be richly rewarded. We're already seeing results in Virginia, Alabama, and Wisconsin.

4. This exactly.

The crazy bigots are only speaking out because they feel emboldened by prez asshole and his shitty minions. Keep calmly spreading facts to the sensible folks around you and get them out to vote. Let them know that they are important.

3. it's not stupidity, it's hate.

surpassing lincoln? if you're enough of a racist, then lincoln wasn't a good president. so donnie making overt racism fashionable would indeed make him better than lincoln in their eyes.

kicking people off medicaid and denying life-saving measures to victims of overdose, that's straight up hate.

5. I just a face palm moment last night

One and only winger that I still talk to really wowed me.
I was talking about the Russian meddling in the election.
His comment: They looked at the positions and then backed the right horse.



I just replied that they had installed their own puppet and shut down for the night.
Think we will have to go back to no politics. My blood pressure does not deal well with stupidity.

7. I hear you

Most RWNJ's say they don't care one whit about Russian interference in our election. In fact, they will tell you that the Russians did us all a huge favor!

Now, if it was HILLARY who was the recipient of Russian interference and won the election .... their heads would be exploding.
