I've noticed a trend in the two biggest labor disputes ...........

going on now. Both in the Con-Ed lockout and the Caterpiller strike, you looking at a company that's making a lot of profit and not wanting to share ANY of that profit with the workers who actually CREATED it. The only "sharing" they do is with management and that's only at the top.

Soooooo....... If you can't share profit when things are going good because Wall Street's telling you you have to make a certain amount to get a good rating and you can't share profit when times are bad because there's nothing to be shared......

When CAN you share any profit with the workers who CREATE the profit FOR you?

One of these days, the working class will understand that they are going to have to TAKE what they need to survive. Take it from the bosses.

salaries and goodie packages because OMG if the company DOESN'T do that, HOW CAN THEY GET GOOD PEOPLE TO WORK FOR THEM?

But when it comes to the rank-and-file -- the ones with their hands on the machines and tools -- meh, well, they're being greedy if they try to get paid what they think they're worth.
