Interesting perspectives on shutdown from govexec.com

"In today's times, the Trump supporters will blame Democrats since that is what Breitbart tells them to think. The far left will blame Republicans since that is what MSNBC tells them what to think. I suspect independents and moderates will notice that Republicans are in charge of the House and Senate and (for those who pay attention) know that the budget was due to be approved prior to September 30th, and the leadership chose to vote on healthcare reform and tax reform before taking this (the budget) up in any serious way."

this comment is saying that MSNBC tells us what to think, but in this case, what they're telling us would be accurate.

the GOP put it off for 2 1/2 months.
