Why Is Trump Suddenly Silent About Filibuster?

Trump has demanded that Senate Republicans blow up the filibuster for much less than preventing a government shutdown. Why is Trump suddenly silent on the issue?

They can't get to even 50 votes for the CR

McCain is home, another 6 or 7 GOPers (including Graham) are "no votes"... so even with Manchin voting Yes it doesn't help.

The media should be HARPING on this fact with every GOPer they have on claiming that this is a Democratic shutdown.
