Have not seen the media connect the dots on this .... but he doesn’t mean merit- otherwise the DACA kids would be safe- he means profit based immigration. Under his travel ban guidelines it would be much easier for well connected and funded grown men to come here from the nation’s he deemed dangerous than it would for mothers and their children or poor refugees.
