FBI opens inquiry into Missouri GOP governor accused of blackmailing his partner in adulterous affair

The FBI has opened an inquiry into Missouri GOP Gov. Eric Greitens, CNN reports.

The probe comes as Greitens attempts to weather accusations he blackmailed a woman with whom he’s admitted to having an extramarital affair, CNN reports.

News of the FBI’s inquiry comes as Greitens pushes back against allegations he tried to blackmail a woman he had an affair with in 2015. Audio recorded by the woman’s now-ex-husband purports to depict the woman accusing Greitens of threatening to share a nude photo of her without her consent if she told people about their affair.

And worked on the Obama campaign.

I bring this up because they will, over and over. They'll call him a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Our last gubernatorial election was interesting. We had a Democrat AG who was GOP when he was a prosecutor and GOP who was a Dem campaign worker.

Btw- met Koster when he was a Republican and several times after. Not my favorite but he grew on me. He enjoyed the fight and would have continued fighting for Missouri. Met Greitens when he worked on the Obama campaign. He was a creeper. Bleach!
