Perhaps it is because the public pressure for him to do so has been sidelined by other issues (massacre in Colorado, gun control, Penn State, etc.)
Or perhaps it is because Romney's adamant refusal indicated that the returns contained information which is profoundly damaging to his candidacy?????
Let's at least keep the pressure on from the Democratic side.

I'd hammer on him till the election, it's exepectd to uncover tax docs and seems overly guarded for no good reason

(19,356 posts)I take that as fatigue and distraction. Maybe when Romney returns from Europe the demands will pick up on both sides. (I doubt it with Republicans, and fear it with Democrats.)
