SNL So Far Isn't Very Funny Tonight....

they had so much material to work with this last week and they are bombing.

Seth Meyers & Cobert are funnier on a daily basis. One would think SNL has a whole week to put together a funny show that it would really be funny. They just aren't doing it.

i don't really watch SNL but i watch clips that people recommend and they are usually of her.

9. I thought the Sarah Slanders bit at the beginning was funny and spot on

where she congratulated all of the women who marched today "to honor the first anniversary of tRump's inauguration". Sadly, she twists reality so much that I could see her convincing the sheeples that the hundreds of thousands of marchers were honoring tRump. And the "does it matter" bit was spot on (but totally over the heads of those who should actually think about it).

11. Maybe I'm Beginning To Lose My Sense Of Humor When It Comes To Trump.....

the crap he says and pulls - when you come right down to it - isn't funny. It's actually embarrassing, demoralizing, classless, sometimes stupid, sad and very unbecoming of a person that holds the office that he does and is who is referred to as the most powerful man in the world.

Making fun of him - just encourages him to push the envelope of decency even further. Socially accepted behavior keeps getting extended - because no matter what he pulls, says or does - he gets a pass. All of a sudden what was not socially accepted behavior to that time - because it came from Trump - it becomes socially accepted and normalized.

An example - before last Thursday - the 4 letter expletive starting with s and ending with t which you never heard uttered on TV - is being bandied about the airwaves and poisoning the minds of our children. Note that some of the people that repeated what Trump said - prefaced their comments with - you might want to move your child away from the TV for this next report.

Trump has taken the office of the president and has diminished it. Look at how people around the world now view the United States because of Trump.

Maybe that's why I said SNL wasn't funny tonight. I'm just tired of us normalizing Trump's behavior. Bottom line I'm just tired and embarrassed of Trump.
