That's why the newspaper was shocked at the turnout for our march (close to 200); would have been larger, but there was a sizable delegation that went to the march in Denver.

Certainly now Weld County is blessed with some very conservative County Commissioners. For a time, they wanted to secede.

Seriously. I don't know from what, exactly, but it was kind of a laugh.

Few demonstrating in Greeley, I should imagine. Denver had a big crowd, and Boulder for sure. Fort Collins maybe.

is *extremely* liberal. As is most of the science fiction community.

This weekend she's been at a science fiction thing in Colorado Springs (I'm there also) and she has been, as always, a total delight, ranting on and on about Trump and how awful he is.

I believe the march here in the Springs was moved indoors because of the weather, but I might be confused about that.

We just got a second Democrat on city council, and had to sue to get that done; they'd seated a guy who lied about a felony record, but he's a republican so they made the suit necessary. It's a battle, and it never stops. But we're not stopping, either.

We had about 200 show up for our march, which surprised and delighted even the organizers. The newspaper left after counting 150, then more showed up.

I made a bumper sticker that reads only "62%". It's a response to the newspapers headline that Republicans "dominate" voter registrations with 38%. When asked about my sticker, which is purple, I explain that 62% of registered voters are NOT republicans (most of the balance being unaffiliated and Democrats).
