So, Google is leading with a CNN "story"...

...blaming the shutdown on Democrats.

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2018/01/21/opinions/government-shutdown-opinion-stewart/index.html

So, what's the source for this "news story?" It's coming from Alice Stewart, who's actually an opinion columnist, not a reporter, and who has accumulated quite a track record as former communications director for:

Ted Cruz
Mike Huckabee
Rick Santorum
Michelle Bachman

But, of course, CNN is the hotbed of liberal bias, right?

As for Google news, they were one of the most flagrant outlets to push that "Comey had reopened the email investigation", which was a LIE, and propagate Fox Baer's report that "according to HIS sources in the FBI, an imminent indictment against the Clinton Foundation was about to happen", all a week before the election.

and as the OP said this is an opinion piece, by a right wing hack, and it is bullshit
