A hypothetical: If the government had stayed"shut down"....?
....what would each side be saying two weeks from now?
Of course, the Republicans would be apoplectic about all the terrible things happening to our military and other parts of our government, all because the Democrats shut down the government. No doubt, the media would be giving them a lot of air play.
What would the Democrats be arguing two weeks from now? Anybody care to look that far ahead?
