Regarding Huckabee Sanders' Press Briefing Today...You Can't Pick and Choose Which Laws to Follow

Today, during the press briefing, Huckabee Sanders said regarding mayors and sanctuary cities, you can not pick and choose which laws to follow. I wish just one reporter had responded with, "Oh, then why did President Trump pardon Sherriff Arpaio??! Arpaio broke the law by not following the laws he didn't like, yet the President pardoned him. Can you explain that, Sarah??!" Just one person needed to ask her that...I would have loved to have seen her fluster and stammer for an answer!

3. I actually am kind of sympathetic to this view point

In a vacuum, I appreciate the idea of protecting undocumented immigrants from unnecessary enforcement.

However, I am a little uncomfortable with the idea of selective enforcement.

We would not allow a city to outlaw abortion or gay weddings. These things are allowed regardless of what local communities want because they are the nationwide laws.

I expect to take a beating on this so have at me if you need too. But I am open to being convinced otherwise if you want to help me understand.
