Who will play Mueller in the movie? Who could possibly be a believable Trump?

There will be a movie about Russiagate at some point in the not too distant future. Who would be good to play Mueller?

My vote goes to (drum roll)...George Clooney. I think he'd be great in it.

An actor to play Trump stumps me. Tall, overweight, old, the hair, loudmouth, vulgar, molesting women, a liar, a braggard, mental issues. Jeff Bridges, maybe...but he's too likable, I think.

For all the incredible effort and production value that have gone into this film, Depp’s performance—both committed and nimble when it comes to leaning into the jokes—may be the biggest highlight. Black Mass Oscar nomination or not, are we entering a new golden age of Depp? His next role, playing the Invisible Man in Universal’s ongoing attempt to build a franchise out of their classic monsters, doesn’t provide conclusive evidence either way. But if a real Trump biopic ever gets made—and, Lord help us, that might be inevitable—Depp ought to be the first one they call.

116. I hadn't thought of him. He WOULD be good. I never saw West Wing....

but I've seen Goodman in many other things. And he can play evil, if he has to. OR good guy. He's a great actor and has a loud voice (which I think is necessary). I can see that.

117. Macy is too small. Trump is a big man...tall and stout (but little hands).

Mueller is very tall, too. Dark with dark eyes.

120. OMG...Daniel Day Lewis would be excellent. I don't care for Donofrio.

Lewis would only do it if it's a big production....either in Hollywood or for streaming. He wouldn't do a made-for-tv movie, probably. Or would he? But he announced recently he's retiring.

I don't think Donofrio is a big enough star for Trump. He could be one of the other many characters, tho.

119. One thing I know: if this is an "A" production, many of the biggest male stars will be trying..

will be trying to get the plum parts.

If it's a "B" made-for-tv movie, there will still be loads of actors lining up to try and get parts. But not the movie stars of Hollywood. Unless it's HBO.

It could be a streaming movie. Netflix or Amazon or HBO.
