Please, please, PLEASE put this man under oath.

He speaks to reporters for one minute about the Russia investigation and he offers:

1. “I couldn’t have cared less about Russians having to do with my campaign”

and

2. "You fight back, they call it obstruction."

So, he doesn't seem deny that Russians were involved in his campaign, nor does it appear to be a big deal to him that they were.

And "fighting back", as in--for example--firing the FBI director after he refuses to drop the intelligence investigation of Michael Flynn and others, doesn't require the rhetorical question. It is obstruction, period.

I want this man to testify under oath. It would do the country so much good to see him self-immolate.

He has no respect for "being under oath". To him, lying is as natural as breathing. He doesn't play by the same rules as most normal human beings. He will lie and lie and lie. He does not care one whit for the rule of law or for protocol. I only hope they can get him on a technicality. I want nothing more than to see him crash and burn.

That cop tried to arrest me so I punched him in the face! I wasn't resisting arrest, I was just "fighting back!"

Now I'm on trial and I think the jury is going to convict me, so I'll have them all killed! It's not murder, I'm just "fighting back!"

Trump no longer has the mental acuity to continue running a vast, right-wing, criminal enterprise.

he'll want at least one of his army of attorneys with him. He'll probably put that condition on any meetings with Mueller. I'd almost bet my life on it.

Not that he has anything to hide, mind you, it's just for "technical" questions he might have.

So true. He could bring the entire lot with him and they'd sit around scratching their nuts and seeing who could kiss Der Gropenfuhrer's ass the quickest when questioned by Mueller, their lips perpetually poised, waiting to pucker on the sphincter of Mad King Donald.

"Negotiations are still ongoing, president was speaking in the moment," you see.

I don't think, perhaps, he realized that testifying under oath to Mueller means a grand jury hearing where he'd have to answer all questions.

They're going to gun for a written response to Mueller's questions, I'm sure, or at least partly so. It's a huge risk just to give Mueller 50% of the questions in person. He didn't spend all this time slowly working his way up the chain to *not* ensure, when the time finally came to interview Trump, he wouldn't have the info necessary to catch him in a lie.

In other words, they know he committed a crime and they are trying to get away with it still. The "I have nothing to hide" bullshit phase is way past over.
