Okay Folks ...

After days of "If only someone had had a gun" and "If he didn't have a shotgun, assault weapon and/or high capacity clip, he would've used something else" posts, might I make a recommendation?

I propose that we treat those posts like the ramblings of that "special" uncle/cousin that we all have. You know, the one that shows up at the family gathering and spouts the most ridiculous stuff, to anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves next to them.

We just ignore them! I ready for DU to return to its measure of sanity.

It's hard not to get drawn into the b.s., but we're not solving any problems in these threads.
