The breaking stories of the last couple of days about firing Mueller and how the WH Counsel refused to do his dirty work seems to have caught Trump in the moment he was getting ready to fire someone.

Yesterday, it was all "fake news".

Today, he wants to fire Rod Rosenstein. He is looking at every avenue possible as a way to get rid of Mueller. It's the continuing saga of "How I Obstructed in Broad Daylight". Never a day disappears that he does not try to get rid of Robert Mueller. He calls it "fighting back". The FBI calls it "breaking the law".

All the while continuing to lie about it. "Naw, I have no plans on firing Mueller".

Yeah, right!

Of hearing Fox-news-absorbent dumbasses laud how Dumpy "Fights back!" "He's a fighter!" etc.

You are right, "fighting back" against the law is called BREAKING THE LAW!

And, "fighting back" against the TRUTH is called LYING!

2. I figured he would go the route of firing Rosenstein

Then get Rosenstein's replacement (some RepubliCON toady that licks Trump's boots) to fire Mueller on some pretext. That way Trump can pretend he didn't fire Mueller to stop the Russian investigation.

RepubliCONS will be all he's the president he can fire anyone he wants. Then act surprised when the replacement does Trump's bidding and takes the heat for firing Mueller. Trump could then even fire the Replacement and say he took care of the problem person.
