"It turned out the Democratic Party had other ideas or, at least, it had an old idea. As is happening in races across the country, party leaders in Washington and in the Pennsylvania district rallied, instead, around a candidate who, in 2016, had raised more money than a Democrat ever had in the district and suffered a humiliating loss anyway."
Lancaster Stands Up is exciting, in touch, organized and mobilized. Then it gets a cold shoulder from the establishment.

You can't find a better source? You can't find a way to help Democrats instead of tearing them down?

I read it there first. Ignoring this story is not wise IMHO. I debate Bernie Brosnan all day long. I keep wondering why corporate candidates get beat with about 42% support. It's a losing strategy in today's climate.

Real headway for Medicare for all, fair tax cuts, and affordable education is going to take more progressives in play. First they need to be elected which requires the kind of movement that Bernie started.
