4. I think Dolt 45 really burned Graham over the DACA negotiations

and he (Graham) is seriously pissed off. Remember how Graham was kissing up, fawning over Trump's impossible without cheating golf scores? Initially I thought he was angling for a SoS appointment when Tillerson quits or is fired, but later I concluded that he was doing what everybody has to do in order to work with Trump at all: flatter him to the point of absurdity. And it looked like it would work with respect to the Graham-Durbin proposal, but then, because Kelly and Miller reminded Trump that his immigrant-hating "base" wouldn't approve and because Trump has no loyalty to anyone, he double-crossed Graham and rejected the deal he and Durbin thought they had.

Graham is a weasel but he's not stupid. He may have figured out that even the most relentless ass-kissing won't get you what you want if Trump wants something else from somebody else. So we'll see whether the golf games will resume.

Although why Graham stupidly believed he could trust Trump is beyond me. But it was a deep & personal sting, & Graham won't forget it. I also think he's pissed that that shithole punk Cotton called one of Graham's long time colleagues a liar. Some of the young GOPers don't have any respect for the long time relationships senior republicans have built with the other side & if they keep displaying that disrespect, the rift in the party will grow. They deserve it. The GOP courted the zealots & bigots for votes, & now they've lost control of their party. Fuck every one of them.

Next weekend he might be riding around the golf course with Don the Con enjoying every second of it.

7. Maybe the GOP are ready to cut their losses with Trump

It seems the Moron has become expendable to them. They got their biggest prize (Tax cuts for the rich) and he has become too unpredictable. I believe his 'negotiations' with Schumer revealed that he even more of an empty suit than they thought. Graham and others now realize that Zombie Goebbels is the shadow president. This terrifies them. Trump senses the Gop are ready to dump him . This is why he is moving slightly to the center and wrote that insincere letter to African leaders.

The Mueller firing attempt info was released for a reason. The GOP wants him gone. I may regret saying this but: I believe impeachment is now a real possibility when Mueller submits his findings.

13. That's my thought about why Wall St Journal reported the Stormy saga-they are ready for Pence

the WSJ has been undermining Mueller and supporting Trump, but now that they have their tax cuts and Trump is likely to be a such a drag on Nov election that Dems could win the Congress back, some in Repub party are ready to cut him loose and elevate Pence who seems so far to be insulated from the Trump/Russia scandal. Several people like Seth Abramson who have been studying the Trump/Russia revelations have been searching but not yet found anything that incriminates Pence as he seems to have been in Indiana or otherwise preoccupied and not in the loop.
