Trump Aide Carter Page May Have Been Russian Agent

TRUMP CAMPAIGN AIDE CARTER PAGE MAY HAVE BEEN RUSSIAN AGENT, JUSTICE DEPARTMENT BELIEVED ACCORDING TO NUNES MEMO

BY CRISTINA MAZA ON 1/29/18 AT 9:29 AM

President Donald Trump’s Justice Department had reason to suspect that former Trump campaign associate Carter Page was a Russian agent, according to a Republican memo.

The contentious and secret memo, allegedly created by Republicans to discredit the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, shows that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein approved an application to continue surveillance of Page, sources told The New York Times.

The memo alleges that the FBI and Justice Department did not adequately explain to a judge that they were relying partly on research by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele when they sought to renew a FISA warrant for surveillance of Page. Steele was the author of the highly controversial Russia dossier, which alleged that Russia had been cultivating Trump for years. Many of the allegations in the dossier remain unproven one year after its publication.

Some sources said the Republican memo, spearheaded by House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes, could be used to attack Rosenstein for allegedly renewing the warrant to spy on Page without having properly vetted the information in the application. The memo allegedly claims that the FBI abused FISA surveillance law by using the dossier.

The dossier corroborated information that the FBI had already received from other sources.

If Nunes keeps on, there are a lot of foreign intelligence services who may back up Mueller because the situation here is so dangerous to the Western alliance that the repugnant goons can’t be allowed to get away with the continued subversion of our government.

Our NATO allies may release information they would not normally releas, because Trump is so compromised

all kinds of situations and tactics, the potential blowback from which ought to make you VERY leery of using, when it may well be used against you later.

Their lack of self-awareness is also a lack of awareness in general, an ability to use reason and logic, and possibly even a basic understanding of object permanence. That last one especially seems to apply to things that are not really "objects" in that sense, but are things they say or do when they really shouldn't. At least in terms of self-interest.

From that standpoint, they need to be made aware that there are devices that can record their words and actions.

News cameras come to mind.

Not to give him much credit, as he seems nutty as a fruitcake with his Hillary derangement syndrome, but he knows Putin hates Hillary and Page was trying to get involved in big oil deals that required lifting of sanctions. Russians were undoubtedly interested in him to see if he could help with lifting sanctions, given his impressive resume-
He is a graduate of US Naval Academy at Annapolis and was in Navy before going to Georgetown and NYU and then getting a PhD from School of London before working for Merrill Lynch and then trying to ingratiate himself with Russian oil people.

All agencies, everywhere. You received a tip, you check how who gave you the tip, then you check to see if the tip is probable, then you ask the Judge why you believe you need a warrant to further the investigation.

Man, is congress stupid. Watch some crime shows, seriously. Nothing wrong here.
Well, besides getting caught up in the treason.
