Interesting that 2 classmates, Mueller and Kerry are both being swiftboated by the press, or have been.

2. We're stuck since Trump will never resign and impeachment would drag out for months

even if Mueller recommends impeachment, Repubs in Congress will drag their feet until Dems take over Congress a year from now and even then the impeachment process can take months.

Key fact hiding in plain sight: Mueller likely cant refer charges 2 Congress without sign-off from Rosenstein, @samthielman reports. Since he also may not be able to indict a sitting prez, it means Mueller may not have control over the results of his probe

5. The results of the probe would still leak out. trump and the repugs would be neutered.

Nothing that big would stay secret in Washington.

The election will be greatly affected if the probe is concluded before or after.

Before: trump and the repugs, including all those retiring and getting out before the blue wave hits them will be diminished in their effectiveness.

After: Dems will most likely take over at least the House and trump will get nothing through then.

trump and the repugs know this and know that there is not just smoke but actually fire, which is why they're trying so hard to not just get rid of Mueller but to discredit the FBI and the DOJ.

They're trying to destroy institutions of our government to save trump and their own asses.

Oh, yeah, you can bet there's fire.

8. Maybe he should take Rosenstein something now before he's fired too

Fire Insurance would keep Rosenstein and Mueller in a job if they've started to show serious charges and wrongdoing.

4. You're right but keep your fingers crossed. Mueller's work has and will damage trump...

but if it doesn't get him out trump and the repugs have a trillion dollar infra-structure bill on their agenda which would put dems in an awkward and weak position.

How could we be against improving the power grid, the bridges, roads, high-speed rail, 100+ year-old sewer systems, ageing airports?

Maybe we should bargain hard as well—agree to the infra-structure bill in exchange for no wall and DACA and other immigrants a fair and definite path to citizenship.

If we can keep the "Blue Wave" going with our disgust and contempt for this criminal, having a Congress that can deliver NOTHING for the Dotard and then starts REAL investigations will be the incentive the 'Retiree in the White House' needs to vacate our property.

This is a political problem and will only be solved by politics.
