Trump said he won't impose the sanctions despite a veto-proof majority

This was the vote on Russian Sanctions:

House: 419-3
Senate: 98-2

Today, Trump said he won't impose the sanctions despite a veto-proof majority.

Congratulations, America. Laws are meaningless now.

There is a country whose leader is being investigated by an agency that's being investigated secretly by a legislator who was on the leader's transition team, which that agency is investigating for colluding with a nation that's subject to sanctions the leader refuses to enforce.

Russia's goal; "undermining U.S. democracy by polarizing the American constituency"

“I think I’ll leave that to Bob Mueller to answer,” Vinograd replied. “What I do think is, we already know from the intelligence community — and the entire intelligence community agrees on this — is that Donald Trump was Russia’s preferred candidate. Now that is not because any kind of personal love for Donald Trump. It is because they viewed him and his election as being more preferable to advancing their policies and to advancing their mission again of undermining U.S. democracy by polarizing the American constituency and decreasing American leverage around the world, and that is what Vladimir Putin wants.”

Trump himself signed the bill August. And now he's breaking the law.
Meanwhile his own CIA Director is warning Congress that Russians
are gearing up to hack the mid-terms. And Trump says there's no collusion.
This traitor needs to be tossed from office before more harm is done.

a lot of hot air, at best)..

A VETO PROOF majority of Congress passed this bill. The Russian in the White House has refused to enforce it.

I suspect Republicans are much less inclined to oppose Trump now than they were 6 months ago.
