Are you happy with the for-profit corporate media? They depend for their survival on pleasing the advertisers who are trying to sell people crap they don't need. Wikipedia doesn't carry ads, doesn't charge a subscription fee, doesn't limit the number of articles you can see, and doesn't hide anything behind a paywall. All its content is created by volunteers. Some of those volunteers have to divert time away from constructive work so that they can deal with vandalism, such as that in the OP.
Somehow, in the face of global capitalism, this dreamily impractical project has become one of the world's most-visited websites. If you don't choose to help us create a free encyclopedia, fine, but at least don't sabotage the work that others are doing. Also, don't celebrate such sabotage, as happens all too often on DU.
It doesn't even accomplish anything. No one undecided about Nunes is going to change their opinion of him because of some silliness that appeared briefly in his Wikipedia bio. Its only effect will be to give the impression that some of Nunes's detractors are jerks. And that impression, incidentally, would be correct.
