It's a Busy Day, But Not One When Major Things Will Happen

The Dotard-in-Chief will make a speech tonight that will reveal nothing of value to anyone. Andrew McCabe is out at the FBI. There's that Nunes memo that will become public shortly. There are things to look at, but nothing to learn about where things will go. It's all just potential at the moment, and will remain just potential until nearer the end of the week.

I wish I knew what McCabe's ouster will mean in the long term. I wish I knew what was in the Nunes memo, exactly. As for Trump's speech, I don't give a damn, since it has nothing to do with anything other than a guy puffing himself in public.

What will happen? I can't speculate. Like everyone else, I'm going to have to wait and see what happens. It's frustrating, but there's not a damned thing I can do to clarify any of it. I'll have to wait.

in March anyhow, he considered the daily shit being thrown at him, looked at his accrued vacation and sick days, and said to himself, "Fuck this. I'm taking my accrued leave and bailing out now, and to hell with it." He gets paid until his scheduled retirement date and he doesn't have to sit in his office and have crap dumped on him every day for the meantime.

And let us not forget who Deep Throat was.

We shall see what transpires. I have no idea what will happen at this point. And we're not going to find out today, either. Everyone's focused on the stupid SOTU, which will be yet another useless speech.

And, of course, here in the Twin Cities, there's that Stupor Bowl. I mean, what's more important than that?
