I truly feel we are close to a very bad, ugly, probably violent situation so I am going to enjoy what little time we all have left doing just that.

I've been streaming "Bonanza" for a few weeks now.

Sure it's dated and rather simple. The number of gunshot wounds that all of the Cartwrights survived is rather astounding.

But it is fun and relaxing... not to mention the outdoor scenes actually shot near Incline village are simply spectacular.

I would rather watch Jersey Shore than SOTU.

For that matter Real Housewives, Kardashians, static, etc.

The SOTU is unbearable even in the best of times. 10 words, applause, 10 words, standing ovation, 12 words, standing ovation. It is torture. It robs even the best speaker of any kind of rhythm and consistency
