You’re probably sick of Kid Rock’s B-sides and Scott Baio’s one man show performing all the roles in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, but you should’ve thought of that before signing on to serve these fundamentally indecent fucksticks.

I understand that the rationalization for AF1, both of them, having new $24 million dollar refrigerators and deep freezers. It’s so that if they get stuck in a hostile hellhole for a month straight — like if the engines breakdown on the Vegas tarmac or if the Chinese won’t let Jared Miller leave without further scientific study to determine his otherworldly origins — they need a month’s supple of food on board.

Great. I’m good with that.

Give them the same “survival rations” that can be found on lifeboats. They’re awful, granted. A piece the size of your pinky will make you reconsider your life choices; I have literally eaten tastier things from dumpsters. But they’re dirt cheap, take up little space, will keep ypu alive, and don’t need $24 million of refrigeration repairs so that the deputy undersecretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development can eat beef bourgingon on week five of the hypothetical hostage standoff.

But I’m a lunatic. I also think that every single judge, DAs, and prison guards should be required to eat the exact same food as the prisoners they convict. Then come back and tell us about fair or cruel punishment. We have a system that doesn’t act out of justice: we act out of anger and greed and craven political opportunism, and we do nothing to make the world better.
