town and family. I'll be 78 this coming July and just hope and pray my so far good health (forget that Dermatology stuff) would have an option to vote for another Kennedy. The family has served our country so well and it would make me so happy in my later years to be able to do this. I worked my tail off for JFK back in the day, having doors slammed in my face and how shocked and saddened my family must be. Oh yeah, heard it all. I hope Joe Kennedy continues on his path, who knows? What a closing that would be!

If he wants to run he should run. I don't know what some people are so afraid of. Well...I do know. I know because it's been made evident by the bleating here about dynasties tonight.

of visiting friends or dating people whose families were Catholic and in almost every home, whether Irish or Italian or Hispanic ( and likely others as well ) there was always a picture of JFK on the wall... sometimes set up as sort of an altar with flowers and candles.

It struck me how passionate they had to be to set that up and keep it some 12 or 15 years after JFK was killed.

he spoke the peoples language. Comparisons were made to Truman, Eisenhower and older men. He was a novelty in a way, but we just loved him.
