Red alert warning: Trump may fire Mueller soon

Democratic leaders should vow that if Democrats regain control of the House, the House Intelligence Committee will be composed of members equally divided between the parties.

They should vow that the chairmanship rotates between the parties no matter which party controls the House and will never again be treated like a partisan political farce in a banana republic state - the way it is being treated today by committee Republicans and Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.).

I now strongly believe that President Trump will soon fire Robert Mueller, using the upcoming report of the Justice Department inspector general as a pretext to fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, which would pave the way to fire Robert Mueller, which would guarantee the most extreme constitutional crisis in American history.

With an 85 percent probability, I now believe that President Trump will never agree to be questioned by Mueller and his special counsel team. The fast-moving time schedule to resolve whether Trump does or does not agree to be questioned by Mueller will be a precipitating event for Trump firing Mueller if indeed this occurs.

IMHO. He's not going to agree to interview with Mueller. If he is subpoenaed, he'll ignore it. If he's held in contempt, he'll ignore it. Will it cause a crisis? Yes. Does he care? Hell no. All, and I mean all, he cares about is DJT. And the Reps. won't hold him accountable.

Why won't he be interviewed/questioned. If he tells the truth, he'll prove his guilt. If he lies, facts will prove him to be a perjurer.

Sorry but the suggestion that we should cede a rightfully won advantage if and when we take back control is asking to get screwed by Republicans again. No way should we play fucking musical chairs with the right to lead on purpose. You are hoping that the Reblicans will take the hint and adopt the practice? That’s never gonna happen. The state of things now should illustrate that clearly as anything; they care nothing for decades old traditions of decency and decorum now and you think they’d play by those rules. You are asking administrations in the future to willingly hamstring themselves for a fanciful idea.

We are gonna need serious reforms post Trump - this much is true. But that starts with explicitly codifying things that were norms we took for granted. The release of candidates tax returns, the divestiture of business interests , campaign finance reform etc.

These assholes already treat our Democratic Presidents as ‘ lame ducks’ with half a damn term left. Giving them a plan like this would only mean they NEVER deal with us as in control even in the case of rock solid majorities.
