Dear Pundies: The econoME is only growing on Wall Street
Out here on Main Street, we are still suffering since Bushco.
No raises in I don't know how long.
No lasting jobs, career jobs, people take temp work.
Most are working 2 and 3 jobs to make ends meet. Have been for years.
There is still that whole group of people that gave up trying to find jobs. I know many.
More and more and more layoffs. Large numbers, and people just disappearing one day at work.
The tax cut gave me less than $30 on my last pay check. That won't pay for much. Why did you bother? Oh, wait, it wasn't for us.
So when you rich pundies say we should be grateful about the strong enconoME, you must be talking about one street in New York. To the rest of America, we don't know what the hell you are talking about.
