Thank you!

(30,613 posts)We should probably get a straight answer as to whether this bombshell memo they want to use to stop the investigation into the white house is maybe just something cooked up by the white house...https://www.thedailybeast.com/devin-nunes-wont-say-if-he-worked-with-white-house-on-anti-fbi-memo
Devin Nunes Wont Say If He Worked With White House on Anti-FBI Memo
The House intel committee GOP leader refused to answer behind closed doors if he coordinated with the presidents team on his report blasting Rosenstein, Comey, and McCabe.

My cube apparently receives Twitter. Not bad for a browser so old that it's incompatible with the company's own intranet sites. Don't get me started...

(33,643 posts)As long as the twitter domain isn't blocked for you, if your browser supports HTML (which ... they all do ) you should be able to see 'Tweets' at DU and everywhere else ... although if it's a REAL old browser the formatting might be off due to use of newer/unsupported commands.
People who cannot see tweets on DU cannot do so because their corporate firewall won't allow employees browsers to 'visit' the domain of twitter, either directly by going to twitter.com or when pages on other sites like DU attempt to visit it via links to twitter.

(15,232 posts)I selectively allow non-1st party resources (uMatrix). So for DU I turn on twitter and some others. I NEVER allow fb and all its variants to pollute my browsing experience.

(82,849 posts)It's not like Nunes has done a circle jerk with the White House befo--oh wait. Nevermind. Yeah, the popular media might want to look into this question a little bit.

(7,811 posts)there's a secret, classified memo and we have to fire rosenstein. Just trust us. It was always just cover anyway...the actual facts don't matter. In fact, they are probably better off not releasing it and getting hammered for propaganda and lies.
Ligyron
(7,624 posts)If they release the actual memo it might be easily refuted garbage and so obviously a sham and a poorly written joke that it ends up being an embarrassment. Plus given his history, Nunes pushing this makes it all the less believable.
Don't release it and they can spin it into anything they want.
Can't the democrats in the House put out a minority report on that memo?
I have already heard democrats in congress, talking about the info that resulted in the memo, saying the republicans cheery picked phrases from the information, completely out of context, for the memo, to support their agenda.
Coming from the US House the memo has no credibility, in my opinion.

(14,171 posts)If it is rife with cherry picking, cannot one of the high ranking Dems that has access to it, not get ahead of the game, and release it themselves. Only this one could be full of red pen circles and markings indicating the areas that counter the cherry picked ones?
And yeah, welcome to DU!
