Did you know that "Chair" has reverted to "Chairman" at the fed?

The new chair has ostentatiously changed his title from Chair to Chairman.

It's such a simple thing. Like "humanity" or "humankind" instead of "mankind." And yet over and over, people and institutions that should know better use "mankind." Why????

3. Misogynistic assholes, trying to erase women from humanity.

They want to make women mere incubators, less than fully human. To them, only a man is fully human. That is why they are so offended by unisex title names. To them, the worst thing you can do is call a man a woman, and a title that does not make clear the person is not a woman, is tantamount to slander.
