Has anyone ever heard Hope Hicks speak in public?

Ms. Hicks is the White House Communications director. Her predecessors include David Gergen, George Stephanopoulos, Nicole Wallace. I seem recall all of them speaking publicly while in that role. Am I misremembering? I have never heard Ms. Hicks, have you?

Would sound. A soft Valley Girl kind of voice. Like in the films "Clueless"and "Legally Blonde".

The position of "communications director" needn't be a media position. There are people who direct communications internally in most companies.

Hicks may hold that title so she can justify the exorbitant salary 45 the Bedswerver wants to pay her. One is technically "directing communications" by answering the phone and transferring the caller to the correct department. On the ground, that position is usually called "receptionist". (With no shade to professional office personnel.)

She sounds like an unusually vapid high school kid. She issued this written statement about Trump last spring; think of it being read by a teenager. Like, totally.

President Trump has a magnetic personality and exudes positive energy, which is infectious to those around him. He has an unparalleled ability to communicate with people, whether he is speaking to a room of three or an arena of 30,000. He has built great relationships throughout his life and treats everyone with respect. He is brilliant with a great sense of humor … and an amazing ability to make people feel special and aspire to be more than even they thought possible.
