2 days ago I went and paid my respects as two local policeman's bodies were taken from ....

..... the county morgue to their hometown. They died after being ambushed trying to
save a women in a domestic abuse case.

I felt like crap after watching the funeral procession. It was like a deep fog of sadness.

I never want to hear about how we need a good person w/a gun to stop a bad
person w/a gun again. In Westerville, OH we had two really good persons w/guns
and still they died.

I also never want to hear ever again the following:

thoughts and prayers

a moment of silence for the victims

it is too soon to talk about gun laws

*******

It is the guns end of story.

Very often it amounts to nothing more than lip service with nothing being done. The "it's to soon to talk about guns" is just a bullshit excuse to do nothing. Count me as another person absolutely sick of this shit.

3. Police often deserve criticism. But with all the nuts toting guns nowadays, I can't blame them

5. "Thoughts and Prayers" is the standard emotionless, cold, moronic response of people who don't want

to change anything. It's the same thing as saying, "We'll fix the problem when we fix the problem. Geez - Leave me alone!" It's all so that AR-15 manufacturers can make their millions.

There will be no prayers or moment of silence. In 10 days from now, everyone will forget that this even happened, and wonder how the next mass shooting "could have possibly happened!?" We'll hear the same garbage spewed, and nothing will ever change.

over so many lives taken by gun violence and a complete feeling of helplessness to change it.
