the latest shooting victims when they offer to teach us gun culture nomenclature and reasons why they need an AR15.

Why kind of reasons would justify the need of an AR15 ?

I don't know much about guns, well nothing is probably closer. I fear them and will never ever find any good reason for a private to keep any kind of gun at home...

disturbing. I carried a M-16 in Vietnam.

I have been in gun stores were assault weapons are sold. The store names are always "Freedom" something or "Second amendment" something or "Heritage" something or "Patriot" something or a combination of all. Patriot Heritage Second Amendment Freedom Arms Gun Store like right out of Fox news.

The guns are mounted on the wall usually, many of them, various shapes but all black. The gun owners seem in awe of them. As if incense needs to be burned to them.

It is a cult like atmosphere, quiet, but everyone sharing the same admiration for the long black weapons of mass murder. It gives me the creeps being there. I go just to see it.
