The Diplomat in Chief and the stray cat

A stray cat has literally walked up to the door at 10 Downing Street where Rmoney is meeting with the British PM.

Mitt Romney questions whether Britain is ready for Games
Mitt Romney, the Republican presidential nominee, has questioned Britain's preparedness to host the London 2012 Olympics and asked whether the country is genuinely willing to "celebrate" the Games.

But he told US television there were "disconcerting" signs about Britain's readiness. "It's hard to know just how well it will turn out," he said. "There are a few things that were disconcerting: the stories about the private security firm not having enough people, supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials, that obviously is not something which is encouraging."

Not terribly diplomatic or like a world leader to insult your hosts in the first country one is visiting on a supposed trip to show foreign policy chops.

The London 2012 Olympics will show the world "beyond doubt that Britain can deliver," the prime minister has said.

"Look at what we're capable of ... even at a difficult economic time," he said, after US presidential candidate Mitt Romney raised doubts about the Games.

At the Olympic Park in east London, David Cameron said: "This is a great moment for us. Let's seize it."

Games organisers have apologised to North Korean athletes whose images were shown next to the South Korean flag.

Maybe he's got a few Polish jokes he can tell when he's there. And god knows what he'll do in Israel...maybe compare the persecution of the Mormons to the Holocaust...that would go over real well...

First he (via a surrogate) he claims that the President "doesn't understand" the Brits (a.k.a., "Anglo-Saxons&quot . Then, he turns around and bad-mouths the Brits right in their own home. If this guy is being likened to a stray cat, it should be prefaced with "rabid". No self-respecting cat, stray or otherwise, would act that stupidly, unless they were afflicted with something.
