are with you in your time of need". With the upcoming election we all get requests no matter if we are registered Dem or not.

(14,847 posts)I always return a postage paid envelope if a Republican candidate is kind enough to provide one. I stuff them with printouts of the Democratic Party Platform or similar material. I do like the "thoughts and prayers" suggestion, though. I may have to do that one in the future.
