Most school districts in the country are too strapped to be hiring folks to walk around strapped. "No, there's no money to hire more or better teachers, we can't fix the roof, and sure air conditioning's nice, but not really essential, but we have oodles of money to spend on mercs to prowl the campus grounds."

Also, would this be a good place to scrimp? You want someone to put his life on the line for $12.50 an hour? How do you suppose the teachers are going to react when six or seven guys are getting paid $100,000 a year (or more, prime costs) to stalk around campus with their trusty shootin' arns?

As always with Trump, his feel-good solution falls apart as soon as you subject it to the least amount of reality.
