This type of citizen-led Q&A session should ensue on EVERY major policy issue, from tax policy to healthcare to gunz.

The corporate media have been effective gatekeepers of the message in this country, blocking true discussion of the spectrum of policy options and slanting coverage to favor big money views.

It was a popular and almost indestructable .22 cal called the Nylon 66, and I had years of fun plinking with it. It was actually one step above a bb gun, and I don't see a reason to clump them in with high power military assault weapons, so I see Rubio's point on this one, as no one would use it for mass murder. It would likely lead to a case of mass wounding.

I'm all for banning weapons of war like Kalishnakovs and Bushmasters, but I don't want politicians who don't know the difference between a sporting rifle and a killing machine drafting the legislation. We need common sense gun regulation. Get rid of assault rifles.

Realistically even if we DID ban ALL of them, they're still out there. And no one is going to turn them in either. But they do wear out, as do the high cap magazines.

...causes values to skyrocket. That makes them less available to common criminals or those on a suicide mission. They would be relegated to collector items, much like old Thompson machine guns, a weapon no one uses for killing anymore.
