At the #CNNTownHall with students from Stoneman Douglas, Emma Gonzalez asked NRA's Dana Loesch if she believed it should be harder to obtain semi-automatic weapons & bump stocks. Loesch claimed the NRA has always advocated for the banning of bump stocks.

Lie.

The sheriff called her out on stage - pointed out she would have no idea what those calls were in regards to and what was reported - and disputed the number!

But no reliable news source ever suggested it was "39 calls in the last year." She made that up.
