Oregon paroles sadistic hiv+ child rapist after only 11 years (4 years early for good behavior)

This is one of the sickest, most disturbing things I have ever heard. When you let a child rapist who has abused over 9 children as young as 2 years old, including his own son and daughter, out of prison, its a no brainer that sooner or later they are going to re-offend.
Adam Lee Brown was accused of molesting and sodomizing 9 children (including is 2 own) in Roseburg Oregon in the early 1990's. He found out in 1989 that he was HIV positive and intentionally tried to infect children with the disease, by raping them and by cutting them and then rubbing his own blood and semen into their wounds. Amazingly none of those nine children were infected. He also further terrified his victims by putting live spiders on their faces and by threatening to further cut or burn them if they told anyone. When he was arrested, most of the charges were thrown out because prosecutors were afraid to force the victims to be cross examined on the witness stand thinking it would be too stressful for them. He ended up being convicted of a few counts and was sentenced to an INSANE 16 years in prison, and was released 4 years early for "good behavior" Prosecutors settled for such a small prison sentence partly because they assumed he would die of Aids in prison, which is a very stupid assumption!! What happens when child rapists/ torturers get out of prison early.....they go right back to doing what they did to get incarcerated in the first place. He routinely abused meth, committed identity theft, failed to register as a sex offender, got caught flirting with young children. On July 1st 2012, he stalked a 10 year old boy into a Wendy's restaurant bathroom in Portland, forced him in the restroom and locked the door. He then ordered the boy to take his clothes off and bend over. When the kid fought back, he stabbed the kid multiple times in the neck and leg and also tried to strangle him. He then told the child he would set the bathroom on fire with them both inside if he continued to refuse to have sex with him. The kids dad heard him screaming in agony and tried to get in the bathroom but it was locked. The restaurant manager got the master key and opened the bathroom to find both the kid and suspect naked and bloody. Upon opening the door, the suspect then shoved the kid out of the restroom and then barricated himself inside. He told police he had a gun which resulted in a two hour stand-off with the swat team.

As I said earlier, this is one the the most fucked up things I have ever read. The guy should have been sentenced to life without parole for his original crimes from the early 90's, and the Wendy's bathroom attack would have never happened. I just hope the 10 year old did not contract HIV from the incident, but knowing the suspects previous history, he probably tried to rub his body fluids into the boys woulds. I blame the state of Oregon for legal Malpractice for the fact that this guy was allowed out of prison for such heinous crimes. God Forbid if the kid should test positive for HIV, I hope the family can sue the state of Oregon for millions. To see the original news stories....Google...Adam Lee Brown, Roseburg Oregon. BTW: when you see the suspects pics, he looks just as freaky as you would expect him too!!!

I live a short distance from this Wendy's. Haven't been inside in a long time, but I frequently go to their drive-thru so this story definitely hit home for me. Especially since I have a son who's just a little older. Here's a link to a story from the local ABC affiliate, KATU: http://www.katu.com/news/local/161298015.html

It explains the sentencing situation. The boy who was attacked had to have surgery but he has been released from the hospital and it seems that he will be (physically) okay.

Is a good thing. Pedophiles who continue to molest, should face death in their sentencing, If this scum is truly guilty, then he deserves the death penalty for the safety of others. With DNA evidence child molestation should be a death sentence. There is NO cure.

What kind of signal is that to 1) pedophiles and 2) children that he got out in 11 years?

Criminals are given sentences like 700 years all the time... why didn't they just give him the sentence he deserved and then hope he died in prison, instead of depending on it? I read that the prosecutor didn't want the kids to have to testify so they agreed to a plea bargain with a ridiculously short sentence; maybe it really did seem like the best decision at the time.
