Andrew White - I was at a debate and Lupe performed worse than 4 other candidates. She had nothing about policy. (Except for criminal justice reform) All about herself and "life story". She didn't seem to understand the 2 minute time constraints of the debate, so she would ramble and not say anything worthwhile in 2 minutes. She also would forget and respond with a smile and "I'm sorry, but I'm 70 years old". She basically was a grandma.

The four other candidates were also very good. I voted for White because I feel that he has the best chance against Abbott. He's got good policies etc.

Lupe will be an embarrassment for the Democratic party. I've heard that Abbott wants her nominated to make Dems look bad.

I'm pretty impressed with several of the Democrats who are running in the US House race (Tx-32) to defeat incumbent Pete Sessions (R)-which is one of the competitive races listed above. This District has been Republican for decades. This could be fun. Hope this is indicative of the infusion of new candidates who are running across the country

and showed that she has very little knowledge as to how state government works. She is a fairly good sheriff, but I don't have the confidence that she has the skills necessary to be governor. She also has not done very much campaigning or raised enough money for TV ad buys.. I'm not enthusiastic about Andrew White, but he has shown that he does have the ability to raise funds and campaign. I wouldn't be surprised to see either Jeffrey Payne or Thomas Wakely pass Lupe Valdez at the end because of the lack of momentum in her campaign.

O'Rourke will handily defeat Sema Hernandez for Senate. If anyone on the ticket rises to rock star status it is O'Rourke and he does stand at least a chance of defeating Ted Cruz in the general election since Ted isn't popular.

I don't have any information on the Comptroller or House races
