Child called racial slur, spat on by firefighter at Overland Park Hooters

OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -
Police say a racial slur was hurled at a child at a Hooters off Metcalf Avenue.

KCTV5 News spoke to a witness who was at the restaurant and he said he was dumbfounded by a statement the firefighter made to police.

“He basically said get that little ‘blank’ up off the floor,” the witness recounted. “The n-word started to get thrown around.”

The comment left the witness speechless.

What kind of person (I can't call him a man) does something like this? This behavior is inexcusable. I hope he is heavily fined.

4. This is Trump's America, no more "politically correct speech".

They have crawled out from under their rocks and are in our face. What we do to them to make them realize they are in the minority is what counts. Call them out, every time, we have to. They are using the bully pulpit Trump gave them, Fox makes them think they are in the majority and they are so not. At least now they are out in the open and we can see what we already knew, they are not just rednecks, they are first responders, they are professionals, they are everywhere.
