(2,226 posts)Foxs demographic is dying and Rachel gets those seeking straight hard hitting reports, younger viewers. We can write a epithet soon for faux. You wasted more minds than meth, crack and heroin. You have been a scourge on our nation.

(25,586 posts)The program is globally popular, and at its creative height was genuinely funny. It has fantastic ratings all over the world, and has even spawned some international knockoffs. Back in 2015 or thereabouts it was the #1 rated television comedy on the planet.
Put simply, its childish, facile, and intellectually bankrupt to pretend that the people who are having BadWrongFun watching a television program of which you disapprove are exhibiting some sort of uniquely American behavior. Light comedy with broad goofy stereotypes isnt American, its human.
Im willing to stipulate that the show has gone downhill rapidly in the last few seasons, however. I gave up on it about a year ago. Every concept eventually gets milked dry.

Of course Fox viewers will be tuning out permanently, especially if Paul Ryan gets his dream to get rid of Medicare.
