Not only do I remember "Duck&Cover" but I remember the Cuban MIssile Crisis...

King's assassination, Kent State, and dozens of other dreadful things that have happened.

What I fear the most is how Trump would react if something truly horrific happens. He was useless for Puerto Rico-- what if another 9-11, or major earthquake happens on his watch?

Not just his personal lack of judgement, but he has decimated so many of the agencies responsible for dealing with these things.

and listening to him talking about the Korean War. We had a Zenith tube-type radio and no TV back in those days.

This is a million times worse than anything in my almost 71 years on this earth. This clown and his party are ripping this country to shreds.

(Or, maybe I spent too much time listening to Jean Shepherd and Long John Nebel)

Being a little kid at time, I would rather be listening to The Lone Ranger but my parents controlled the radio at night.

Btw, I'm still as addicted to radio as I was when I was very young. Audio has always been a part of my life since there was no tv in our house until I was about 7. We lost liberal radio in the Denver area years ago but podcasts saved the day. Podcasts are like radio on steroids.
